Very expected game when 13th rankedH.Safed Galil (1-5) was crushed on the road by sixth ranked M.Rehovot (4-1) 101-70 on Tuesday. M.Rehovot shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 53.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Samage Teel (188-2002, college: Indiana St.) who scored 16 points and 5 assists. The other American import forward Josh Aldrich (201-1999, college: Charlotte, agency: JCK Sports Group) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Taz Sherman (194-1999, college: WVU) who recorded 27 points and guard Omer Poleg (185-1999) added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. M.Rehovot moved-up to fifth place. Loser H.Safed Galil keeps the thirteenth position with five games lost. They share it with M.Kiryat Gat and E.Shomron.
