Regular Season Round 6: E.Shomron - H.Migdal 84-77

E.Shomron has finally registered their first victory this season after five consecutive losses. The win is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked H.Migdal (4-2) 84-77 on Tuesday. 24 personal fouls committed by H.Migdal helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Demetrius Treadwell (201-1991, college: Akron) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import swingman Vince Cole (198-1998, college: Coastal) chipped in 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four E.Shomron players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Dachon Burke (193-1997, college: USA) with 20 points and guard Niv Lempert (194-2004) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. E.Shomron (1-5) left bottom position moving up to thirteenth place, which they share with H.Safed Galil and M.Kiryat Gat. H.Migdal at the other side dropped to the sixth position with two games lost.
