There was no surprise when 10th rankedM.Petah Tikva (3-4) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Hapoel Eilat (5-1) 104-89 on Friday. H.Eilat dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to M.Petah Tikva 's 38 and made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. H.Eilat looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for swingman Eliad Tal (198-2002) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. American power forward Ishmael Lane (203-1997, college: NSU) helped adding 18 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side Cameroonian-American forward Alonzo Sule (201-1999, college: JMU) responded with 21 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Tre McCallum (201-1995, college: DePaul, agency: MSG) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. H.Eilat moved-up to third place. Loser M.Petah Tikva keeps the tenth position with four games lost. They share it with E.Yavne.
