Regular Season Round 8: H.Haifa - H.Migdal 88-80

National League top team -Hapoel Haifa (8-1) added another victory to their record on Friday. This time they beat ninth ranked H.Migdal (4-5) 88-80 . H.Haifa made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The winners were led by American Xavier Johnson (201-1993, college: Colorado) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and naturalized American guard Daniel Rosenbaum (195-1997, college: Pomona-Pitzer) supported him with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Rosenbaum is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds by American forward Chris Clarke (196-1996, college: Texas Tech, agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for H.Migdal . Guard Niv Lempert (194-2004) added 20 points and 4 assists for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. H.Migdal's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hapoel Haifa have an impressive seven-game winning streak. H.Haifa maintains first position with 8-1 record. H.Migdal lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with five games lost.
