The game between closely ranked teams ended with ninth rankedH.Petah Tikva 's (2-5) road victory over bottom-ranked H.Be'er Sheva (1-7) 81-72 on Monday. H.Petah Tikva dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to H.Be'er Sheva 's 18. They outrebounded H.Be'er Sheva 35-19 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. H.Petah Tikva looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by H.Be'er Sheva 's players. The winners were led by American guard Sparkle Taylor (178-1995, college: UTEP) who scored that evening 36 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) and the other American import forward Najai Pollard (180-1997, college: Delaware St.) supported her with 17 points and 8 rebounds. Even 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists by Puerto Rican-American Arella Guirantes (181-1997, college: Rutgers) did not help to save the game for H.Be'er Sheva . Anguillan-British power forward Mikiah Herbert-Harrigan (188-1998, college: S.Carolina) added 16 points for the hosts. H.Petah Tikva maintains ninth position with 2-5 record. H.Be'er Sheva lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom place with seven games lost.
