Regular Season Round 8: M.Raanana - Bnei Hertzeliya 96-107
Date: December 6, 2025
Rather predictable result when seventh rankedBnei Hertzeliya (4-3) defeated on the road 9th ranked M.Raanana (2-6) 107-96 . Bnei Hertzeliya players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. The winners were led by American guard Elijah Stewart (196-1995, college: USC) who scored that evening 30 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Max Heidegger supported him with 25 points and 6 assists. Even a double-double of 18 points and 12 assists by American-Liberian point guard Joe Ragland (182-1989, college: Wichita St.) did not help to save the game for M.Raanana . The former international forward Yotam Hanochi (204-2000, agency: Octagon Europe) added 20 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the hosts. Five Bnei Hertzeliya and four M.Raanana players scored in double figures. M.Raanana's coach Shai Segalovich rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bnei Hertzeliya have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 4-3 record. M.Raanana lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eleventh place with six games lost. They share the position with H.Galil Elion. Bnei Hertzeliya will play against higher ranked H.Jerusalem (#5) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. M.Raanana will play against Kiryat Ata (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
