There was a small surprise in Hod Hasharon where seventh rankedBnei Hertzeliya (5-3) beat 5th ranked Hapoel Jerusalem (5-3) 95-80 on Saturday. American guard Elijah Stewart (196-1995, college: USC) stepped up and scored 23 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import forward Noah Carter (201-2001, college: Missouri) chipped in 19 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was American center Austin Wiley (211-1999, college: Auburn) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and international Khadeen Carrington (193-1995, college: Seton Hall) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Five Bnei Hertzeliya and four H.Jerusalem players scored in double figures. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Bnei Hertzeliya . They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with H.Jerusalem.
