Very predictable result in Gan Ner where third rankedH.Gilboa Galil (9-2) defeated 11th ranked Ironi Nes-Ziona (3-8) 88-83 on Friday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. H.Gilboa Galil made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Strangely I.Ness Ziona outrebounded H.Gilboa Galil 41-29 including 27 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American guard Kyler Edwards (193-1999, college: Houston) who scored 22 points. The former international point guard Niv Misgav (181-1995) chipped in 15 points and 6 assists. H.Gilboa Galil's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. U.S. Virgin Islands Desi Rodriguez (197-1996, college: Seton Hall) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and Canadian Jackson Rowe (201-1997, college: CS Fullerton) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for H.Gilboa Galil . They maintain third place with 9-2 record behind leader H.Tel-Aviv.
