Regular Season Round 11: H.Jerusalem - M.Raanana 102-99

Date: December 27, 2025
Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Hapoel Jerusalem (7-4) edged at home 12th ranked M.Raanana (2-9) 102-99 on Saturday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. H.Jerusalem shot 61.3 percent from the field and made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when H.Jerusalem made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was American point guard Jared Harper (178-1997, college: Auburn) who scored 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import forward Justin Smith (201-1999, college: Arkansas) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Hapoel Jerusalem's coach Yonatan Alon used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American-Liberian point guard Joe Ragland (182-1989, college: Wichita St.) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 assists and American guard Tyrece Radford (188-1999, college: Texas A&M) added 19 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place, which they share with H.Holon and Bnei Hertzeliya. M.Raanana lost their eighth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with nine games lost. They share it with H.Galil Elion. H.Jerusalem will meet at home bottom-ranked E.Netanya (#14) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. M.Raanana will play against M.Ramat Gan and hope to secure a win.
