The game in supposed to be also quite interesting. Second rankedM.Rehovot (12-2) played at the court of 7th ranked Otef Darom (7-7). M.Rehovot did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 88-68 on Tuesday. M.Rehovot outrebounded Otef Darom 42-31 including 29 on the defensive glass. M.Rehovot looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Daniel Sharon notched a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Amit Menachem (184-2004) supported him with 14 points and 5 assists. Five M.Rehovot players scored in double figures. Even 17 points and 9 rebounds by American forward Kyndahl Hill (201-1994, college: Weber St.) did not help to save the game for Otef Darom . Guard Yonatan Keller (190-2007) added 16 points for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. M.Rehovot maintains second position with 12-2 record behind leader H.Eilat. Otef Darom lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth place with seven games lost. They share the position with E.Shomron.
