There was a surprise result in Rishon Le-Zion where tenth rankedM.Rishon (5-7) defeated higher ranked Hapoel Holon (8-5) 78-70 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Amin Stevens (203-1990, college: FAMU) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import guard Khalil Ahmad (191-1996, college: CS Fullerton, agency: Octagon Europe) who added 18 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international power forward Idan Zalmanson (205-1995) with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and international forward Netanel Artzi (197-1997) scored 19 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. M.Rishon have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with M.Ramat Gan and H.Be'er Sheva. Loser Hapoel Holon dropped to the sixth position with five games lost.
