Regular Season Round 12: H.Be'er Sheva - Bnei Hertzeliya 86-94

Date: January 4, 2026
Rather expected game when 8th ranked Hapoel Beer Sheva (5-7) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Bnei Hertzeliya (8-4) 94-86 on Sunday. Bnei Hertzeliya forced 19 H.Be'er Sheva turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Shawn Dawson (198-1993) who helped to win the game recording 29 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and American guard Elijah Stewart (196-1995, college: USC) who added 17 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Brandon Angel (204-2001, college: Oregon) with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Cody Demps (193-1993, college: Sacramento St.) scored 27 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Bnei Hertzeliya have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with H.Jerusalem. Loser Hapoel Beer Sheva keeps the eighth position with seven games lost. They share it with M.Rishon and M.Ramat Gan. Bnei Hertzeliya will meet at home I.Ness Ziona (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. H.Be'er Sheva will play against H.Galil Elion in Kfar Blum and hope to secure a win.
