There was an upset when higher rankedH.Migdal (6-10) was defeated on the road by sixteenth ranked H.Safed Galil (2-14) 123-105 on Tuesday. H.Safed Galil shot the lights out from three sinking 21 long-distance shots on high 51.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian-American center Josh Nzeakor (203-1997, college: Lamar) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds and forward Yuval Bar (195-2002) who added 30 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists during the contest. At the losing side guard Eidan Alber (192-2000) responded with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and American guard Marques Warrick (190-2002, college: Missouri) scored 19 points and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. H.Migdal's coach tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. H.Safed Galil maintains sixteenth position with 2-14 record. Loser H.Migdal keeps the tenth place with ten games lost. They share the position with M.Petah Tikva and E.Yavne.
