There was no surprise when 13th rankedM.Ma'ale Adum. (5-11) was crushed on the road by second ranked M.Rehovot (13-3) 102-67 on Tuesday. M.Rehovot dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to M.Ma'ale Adum. 's 38 and made 22-of-25 free shots (88.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded M.Ma'ale Adum. 40-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. M.Rehovot looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by M.Ma'ale Adum. 's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Derrick Walker (206-1997, college: Nebraska, agency: Diamond Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and guard Amit Menachem (184-2004) who added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four M.Rehovot players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Christian Jones (201-1993, college: UNLV, agency: BIG) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and guard Rom Hitkes (190-2005) scored 14 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. M.Rehovot maintains second position with 13-3 record having just two points less than leader H.Eilat. M.Ma'ale Adum. lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with M.Kiryat Gat.
