No shocking result in a game when third rankedHapoel Haifa (12-4) defeated on the road 9th ranked E.Shomron (7-9) 90-73 on Tuesday. H.Haifa looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American Xavier Johnson (201-1993, college: Colorado) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Shoham Gat (189-2002) who added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists during the contest. Five Hapoel Haifa players scored in double figures. At the losing side American swingman Vince Cole (198-1998, college: Coastal) responded with 20 points and 7 rebounds and guard Matan Hachamo (189-2003) scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. H.Haifa maintains third position with 12-4 record having just three points less than leader H.Eilat, which they share with I.Nahariya. E.Shomron lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with nine games lost.
