Rather expected game when 6th rankedM.Karmiel (8-9) was smashed by third ranked H.Rishon LZ (10-7) in Rishon Le-Zion 92-54 on Monday. H.Rishon LZ dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to M.Karmiel 's 28. They outrebounded M.Karmiel 41-26 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. H.Rishon LZ looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by M.Karmiel 's players. American swingman Morgan Batey (180-1994, college: Vanderbilt) nailed 26 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and international swingman Eden Zipel (184-2002) accounted for 12 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Four H.Rishon LZ players scored in double figures. H.Rishon LZ's coach Ziv Erez felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
