Very expected game in Kfar Blum where 14th rankedGalil Elion (2-13) was defeated by fifth ranked Hapoel Jerusalem (10-5) 81-76 on Saturday. H.Jerusalem made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Strangely H.Galil Elyon outrebounded H.Jerusalem 38-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for American point guard Jared Harper (178-1997, college: Auburn) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 8 assists. His fellow American import forward Justin Smith (201-1999, college: Arkansas) helped adding 12 points and 6 rebounds. Hapoel Jerusalem's coach Yonatan Alon used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was the former international guard Raz Adam (193-1999) with 15 points and 8 assists and American forward DJ Kennedy (198-1989, college: St.John's) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds. Five H.Jerusalem and four H.Galil Elyon players scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains fifth place with 10-5 record. H.Galil Elyon lost eleventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost.
