Very predictable result in Hod Hasharon where fourth rankedBnei Hertzeliya (10-4) beat 10th ranked M.Rishon (5-9) 89-83 on Monday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Bnei Hertzeliya made 18-of-19 free shots (94.7 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for Nigerian-American center Chinanu Onuaku (207-1996, college: Louisville) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. American forward Noah Carter (201-2001, college: Missouri) helped adding 20 points and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all six shots). Four Bnei Hertzeliya players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Khalil Ahmad (191-1996, college: CS Fullerton, agency: Octagon Europe) with 28 points (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and the other American import forward Amin Stevens (203-1990, college: FAMU) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Bnei Hertzeliya have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with H.Gilboa Galil. Newly promoted M.Rishon keeps the tenth position with nine games lost.
