The most exciting game of round 3 in the D1 took place in Karmiel. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat ofM.Karmiel (9-12) to M.Haifa (11-11) 69-68 on Monday evening. M.Haifa forced 19 M.Karmiel turnovers. It was a great evening for American guard Shyanne Sellers (188-2003, college: Maryland) who led her team to a victory scoring 31 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Belgian-DR Congolese forward Bethy Mununga (183-1997, college: S.Florida) helped adding 14 points and 13 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American forward Alisia Jenkins (186-1994, college: S.Florida) with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import guard Chelsea Mitchell (175-1997, college: Morgan St.) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds.
