Everything went according to plan in Ma'ale Adumim where fourth rankedHapoel Haifa (16-5) beat 15th ranked M.Ma'ale Adum. (5-16) 88-76 on Tuesday. H.Haifa made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 M.Ma'ale Adum. turnovers. H.Haifa looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American Xavier Johnson (201-1993, college: Colorado) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds. point guard Danel Kozahinof (168-2001) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Christian Jones (201-1993, college: UNLV, agency: BIG) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import guard Xavier Bledson (198-1999, college: Indiana St., agency: Diamond Sports) added 17 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Five H.Haifa and four M.Ma'ale Adum. players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for Hapoel Haifa . H.Haifa moved-up to third place, which they share with I.Nahariya. M.Ma'ale Adum. lost their ninth game in a row.
