There was a small surprise when ninth rankedE.Shomron (11-13) defeated at home 7th ranked Ramat Hash. (12-12) 88-81 on Tuesday. E.Shomron looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. The best player for the winners was swingman Vince Cole (198-1998, college: Coastal) who scored 26 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Demetrius Treadwell (201-1991, college: Akron) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists. Five E.Shomron players scored in double figures. E.Shomron's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Ira Lee (203-1998, college: Arizona) who recorded a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Demetre Roberts (173-2000, college: FDU) added 17 points and 8 assists respectively. E.Shomron moved-up to eighth place. Loser Ramat Hash. keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost.
