No shocking result in a game when seventh rankedE.Shomron (13-13) beat at home 13th ranked M.Haifa (7-18) 93-88 on Friday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was a great shooting night for E.Shomron especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. American forward Demetrius Treadwell (201-1991, college: Akron) notched a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and the other American import swingman Vince Cole (198-1998, college: Coastal) supported him with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Even 23 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals by American forward Josh Price (205-1996, college: S.Indiana) did not help to save the game for M.Haifa . Naturalized American swingman Sandy Cohen III (198-1995, college: Green Bay) added 13 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the guests. Five E.Shomron and four M.Haifa players scored in double figures. E.Shomron have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 13-13 record. M.Haifa lost third consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with 18 games lost. They share the position with M.Kiryat Gat.
