Tenth-rankedH.Migdal (11-16) gave a tough game to fifth ranked M.Ashdod (18-9) in Nazareth on Tuesday. The visitors from Ashdod managed to secure only one-point victory 91-90 . However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of H.Migdal. M.Ashdod forced 23 H.Migdal turnovers and had a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American point guard Robert Turner III (190-1993, college: Texas Tech) who scored 33 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import Jimmy Hall (203-1994, college: Kent St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Five M.Ashdod players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Marques Warrick (190-2002, college: Missouri) who recorded 28 points and 4 steals and guard Eidan Alber (192-2000) added 17 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists respectively. H.Migdal's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for M.Ashdod . They maintain fifth place with 18-9 record. Loser H.Migdal keeps the tenth position with 16 games lost.
