Very expected game when 14th rankedM.Ma'ale Adum. (8-20) was rolled over on the road by fifth ranked M.Ashdod (19-9) 103-80 on Friday. M.Ashdod forced 19 M.Ma'ale Adum. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Ben Callahan-Gold (203-2001, college: Binghamton) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import Jimmy Hall (203-1994, college: Kent St.) who added 15 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four M.Ashdod players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Greg Williams Jr (190-1998, college: Louisiana) responded with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Itay Karabayov (198-1985) scored 18 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. M.Ashdod have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 19-9 record. M.Ma'ale Adum. at the other side keeps the fourteenth place with 20 games lost.
