The game between second rankedM.Rehovot (24-5) and seventh ranked E.Shomron M.Rehovot was defeated by E.Shomron in Shomron 78-90 . It ended at the same time the 11-game winning streak of M.Rehovot. E.Shomron dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to M.Rehovot 's 30 and made 16-of-16 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. They outrebounded M.Rehovot 36-25 including a 23-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. American swingman Vince Cole (198-1998, college: Coastal) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points. His fellow American import forward Demetrius Treadwell (201-1991, college: Akron) contributed with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Amit Menachem (184-2004) answered with 13 points and 7 assists and guard Miron Katz (189-2006) added 11 points and 7 assists in the effort for M.Rehovot. Four M.Rehovot players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. E.Shomron maintains seventh place with 14-15 record. M.Rehovot at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost.
