Very expected game when 13th rankedE.Yavne (9-21) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Ashkelon (17-13) 80-68 on Tuesday. Ashkelon looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was American power forward Quatarrius Wilson (203-1996, college: SEMO, agency: M&L Talent) who scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Ron Cohen (191-2002) chipped in 16 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward CJ Walker (203-2001, college: ECU) who recorded 13 points and 7 rebounds and Oz Kholi (-2001) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Four E.Yavne players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Ashkelon maintains sixth position with 17-13 record. E.Yavne lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with 21 games lost.
