Regular Season Round 21: H.Holon - M.Rishon 62-68

There was a minor upset when 6th ranked Hapoel Holon (12-10) was defeated at home by eighth ranked M.Rishon (9-12) 68-62 on Saturday. American forward Amin Stevens (203-1990, college: FAMU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import forward DJ Burns (201-2001, college: YSU, agency: Players Group) chipped in 11 points. Burns is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was Mali center Adama Sanogo (206-2002, college: UConn) with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and international guard Yair Kravitz (195-1999, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 10 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Four H.Holon players scored in double figures. M.Rishon moved-up to seventh place, which they share with H.Be'er Sheva. Loser Hapoel Holon keeps the sixth position with ten games lost. M.Rishon will meet at home higher ranked H.Gilboa Galil (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. H.Holon will have a break next round.
