There was a surprise result in Nes Ziyona where ninth rankedIroni Nes-Ziona (9-15) beat higher ranked Hapoel Jerusalem (17-8) 97-93 on Wednesday. I.Ness Ziona shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 51.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Indonesian-American center Marques Bolden (211-1998, college: Duke) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and American guard Bryce Brown (190-1997, college: Auburn) who added 24 points and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American point guard Jared Harper (178-1997, college: Auburn) with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 assists and the former international Nimrod Levi (208-1995) scored 21 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ironi Nes-Ziona have a solid four-game winning streak. I.Ness Ziona maintains ninth position with 9-15 record. Defending champion H.Jerusalem keeps the fourth place with eight games lost.
