Leader Maccabi Tel-Aviv delivered the twenty third victory. This time they beat 5th ranked H.Gilboa Galil (15-10) 98-88 in Gan Ner. M.Tel-Aviv outrebounded H.Gilboa Galil 41-30 including a 21-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. M.Tel-Aviv players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a good game for Danish guard Gabriel Lundberg (193-1994) who led his team to a victory with 21 points and 5 assists. French-American Jaylen Hoard (204-1999, college: Wake Forest) contributed with 7 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Maccabi Tel-Aviv players scored in double figures. American guard Kyler Edwards (193-1999, college: Houston) replied with 39 points (!!!) and 5 assists and his fellow American import forward Max Brooks (203, college: UMass Lowell) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for H.Gilboa Galil. Maccabi Tel-Aviv (23-1) have an impressive 18-game winning streak. M.Tel-Aviv maintains first position. H.Gilboa Galil lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with ten games lost. They share the position with H.Holon. M.Tel-Aviv will play against H.Galil Elyon (#13) in Kfar Blum in the next round which should be an easy win for them. H.Gilboa Galil will play on the road against Bnei Hertzeliya (#3) in Hod Hasharon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
