Regular Season Round 26: M.Ramat Gan - H.Holon 110-104

There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked Ramat Gan (10-16) defeated at home higher ranked Hapoel Holon (15-11) 110-104 on Tuesday. M.Ramat Gan shot the lights out from three sinking 19 long-distance shots on high 63.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international Adam Ariel (193-1994) who scored 28 points and 5 assists. American guard Ty Nichols (190-1996, college: Keene St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. Mali center Adama Sanogo (206-2002, college: UConn) produced 15 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and the former international Lior Carreira (196-1997) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five M.Ramat Gan and four H.Holon players scored in double figures. Hapoel Holon's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. M.Ramat Gan moved-up to eighth place, which they share with H.Be'er Sheva. Loser Hapoel Holon dropped to the fifth position with 11 games lost. They share it with H.Gilboa Galil.
