There was a minor upset in Kfar Blum where 10th rankedKiryat Ata (8-16) was defeated by twelfth ranked Galil Elion (6-19) 113-108 on Tuesday. H.Galil Elyon looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was naturalized Polish point guard Yuval Sznaiderman (185-2002) who scored 28 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Ishmael El-Amin (189-1998, college: URI) chipped in 29 points and 8 assists. American guard Rob Edwards (196-1997, college: Arizona St.) produced 31 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import power forward DeAndre Williams (206-1996, college: Memphis) added 12 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Kiryat Ata's coach Eldad Bentov rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Despite that victory H.Galil Elyon went down to thirteenth position due to points difference. Loser Kiryat Ata dropped to the eleventh place with 16 games lost.
