Very predictable result when fifteenth rankedAgrigento (4-7) outscored on the road 20th ranked Saronno (1-10) 108-78 on Thursday. Agrigento dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Saronno 's 42 and made 17-of-17 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. They outrebounded Saronno 41-30 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Agrigento looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was a great evening for naturalized Argentinian forward Albano Chiarastella (195-1985, agency: BIG) who led his team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 10 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists. Alessandro Scarponi (196-2004) helped adding 21 points and 8 rebounds. Five Agrigento players scored in double figures. Power forward Giacomo Maspero (204-1992) responded with 21 points and 8 rebounds and guard Matteo Beretta (189-1999, agency: SLN) scored 18 points and 6 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Agrigento moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Saronno lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the twentieth position with ten games lost.
