There was no surprise when 8th rankedTortona (4-4) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Brescia (6-2) 85-78 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian center Miro Bilan (213-1989) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international Amedeo Della Valle (192-1993, college: Ohio St., agency: SLN) who added 14 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Five Brescia players scored in double figures. American guard Tommy Kuhse (188-1998, college: SMC) responded with 17 points and 4 assists and French center Ismael Kamagate (211-2001) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds. Tortona's coach Walter De Raffaele rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Brescia moved-up to third place, which they share with Milano and Trapani. Tortona lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with four games lost.
