There was no surprise when 20th rankedRagusa (3-17) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Faenza (13-7) 89-84 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Mitchell Poletti (205-1988) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists and naturalized Argentinian swingman Tomas Cavallero (198-1998) who added 19 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Swingman Nicolo Bertocco (198-1995) responded with 26 points and Davide Vavoli (198-2001, agency: Players Group) scored 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Faenza and four Ragusa players scored in double figures. Faenza moved-up to third place, which they share with 5 other teams. Ragusa lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the twentieth position with 17 games lost.
