The most surprising game was a loss of top-rankedBrescia (12-4) at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by seventh ranked Tortona (10-6) 106-98 . Tortona made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Justin Gorham (201-1998, college: Houston) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 6 rebounds and the former international point guard Tommaso Baldasso (193-1998) who added 24 points during the contest. At the losing side Montenegrin guard Nikola Ivanovic (190-1994) responded with 24 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and Croatian center Miro Bilan (213-1989) scored 10 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tortona moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Milano. Brescia at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
