There was no surprise when 18th rankedCrema (7-17) lost at home to fourteenth ranked Agrigento (12-12) 81-69 on Wednesday. Agrigento dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Crema 's 14 and made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. The winners were led by naturalized Argentinian forward Albano Chiarastella (195-1985, agency: BIG) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds and guard Emanuele Caiazza (185-2003) supported him with 18 points. Five Agrigento players scored in double figures. Even 20 points and 5 rebounds by point guard Leonardo Valesin (190-2006) did not help to save the game for Crema . Slovenian Nejc Zupan (203-1996, agency: Bell Basketball) added 9 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Crema's coach Nazareno Lombardi tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Agrigento moved-up to tenth place. Loser Crema dropped to the seventeenth position with 17 games lost. They share it with Saronno.
