There was no surprise when 16th rankedVigevano (8-16) was outleveled at home by second ranked Udine (18-6) 91-62 on Wednesday. Udine dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Vigevano 's 22. They outrebounded Vigevano 41-21 including a 29-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by the former international forward Matteo Da Ros (204-1989) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) and point guard Lorenzo Caroti (185-1997, agency: Players Group) supported him with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Udine players scored in double figures. Even 14 points by guard Michele Peroni (190-1994) did not help to save the game for Vigevano . Albanian Celis Taflaj (201-1998, agency: SLN) added 10 points and 5 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Udine used an opportunity after Rimini lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Loser Vigevano dropped to the seventeenth place with 16 games lost. They share the position with Cento.
