Everything went according to plan when first rankedLegnano (20-4) outplayed on the road 17th ranked Saronno (7-17) 101-68 on Wednesday. Legnano outrebounded Saronno 42-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. Legnano shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 51.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by American Nik Raivio (193-1986, college: Portland, agency: Pensack Sports) who scored that evening 27 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Mattia Mastroianni (203-1994) supported him with 16 points and 4 assists. Five Legnano players scored in double figures. Even 16 points and 7 rebounds by swingman Niccolo Giulietti (195-2001, agency: SLN) did not help to save the game for Saronno . Power forward Giacomo Maspero (204-1992) added 15 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Legnano maintains first position with 20-4 record. Newly promoted Saronno keeps the seventeenth place with 17 games lost. They share the position with Crema.
