Very expected game when 11th rankedSassari (7-12) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Armani Milano (13-6) 78-72 on Saturday. Milano made 25-of-27 free shots (92.6 percent) during the game. North Macedonian point guard Nenad Dimitrijevic (186-1998) fired 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Argentinian swingman Leandro Bolmaro (198-2000) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Alessandro Cappelletti (186-1995) produced 11 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists and Polish swingman Michal Sokolowski (196-1992) added 10 points respectively for lost side. Four Sassari players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Armani Milano have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Trapani. Sassari at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 12 games lost.
