Everything went according to plan when seventeenth rankedCrema (9-18) defeated at home 20th ranked Ragusa (5-22) 82-67 on Saturday. Crema outrebounded Ragusa 37-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for Slovenian Nejc Zupan (203-1996, agency: Bell Basketball) who led the winners and scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Niccolo Venturoli (196-2000, agency: SLN) accounted for 20 points for the winning side. Swingman Nicolo Bertocco (198-1995) came up with 25 points and power forward Mirko Gloria (203-1995, agency: Players Group) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Ragusa in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Crema moved-up to sixteenth place, which they share with Salerno and Cassino. Ragusa lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the twentieth position with 22 games lost. They share it with Rieti.
