Regular Season Round 28: Desio - Legnano 76-69

There was a change at the Serie B Nazionale leadership position after last games. Round 28 most important game was a defeat of league's leaderLegnano (23-5). They were defeated by fifteenth ranked Desio (11-17) 76-69 on Wednesday night. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Legnano. Desio looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Alberto Chiumenti (204-1987, agency: Players Group) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and Lithuanian forward Emilis Bartninkas (202-2004) who added 18 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American Nik Raivio (193-1986, college: Portland, agency: Pensack Sports) responded with 11 points and 6 rebounds and guard Ezio Gallizzi (183-2000) scored 13 points. Five Desio and four Legnano players scored in double figures. Desio moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with San Severo. Legnano at the other side still keeps top position with five games lost. They share it with Treviglio. They were replaced at the leadership position by Treviglio.
