There was an upset when higher rankedFidenza (17-15) was defeated on the road by sixteenth ranked Desio (12-20) 78-73 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Alessandro Cipolla (198-2000) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and naturalized Dominican guard Daniel Perez (185-1997) who added 13 points during the contest. Cameroonian Levi Guimdo (193-2005) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Simone Valsecchi (181-2004, agency: SLN) scored 23 points and 4 assists. Four Fidenza players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Desio moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Crema. Newly promoted Fidenza dropped to the ninth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Monferrato and Chiusi.
