There was no surprise when 9th rankedPesaro (17-14) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Rieti (19-12) 85-78 on Sunday. Rieti shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 51.6 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of Finnish Topias Palmi (196-1994, agency: Blacktop Management) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and American power forward Skylar Spencer (206-1994, college: SDSU, agency: Slash Sports) who added 15 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) during the contest. Four Rieti players scored in double figures. Rieti's coach Alessandro Rossi used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Khalil Ahmad (191-1996, college: CS Fullerton, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 24 points, 5 assists and 4 steals and his fellow American import forward VJ King (198-1997, college: Louisville, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Rieti moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Cividale. Pesaro lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Verona.
