The biggest surprise of round 20 was guestSan Martino 's (#5) easy road victory over Faenza (#7) 83-65 on Sunday evening. San Martino forced 21 Faenza turnovers. The best player for the winners was American forward Caitlin Bickle (185-2000, college: Baylor) who scored 26 points and 9 rebounds. The other American import forward Amari Robinson (183-2000, college: Clemson) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). San Martino's coach Giuseppe Piazza used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Cornelia Fondren (173-1993, college: Syracuse) produced 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and French Sara Roumy (181-2003) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. San Martino maintains fifth position with 9-9 record. Faenza at the other side dropped to the sixth place with ten games lost. They share the position with San Giovanni.
