Serie A1 top team -Schio (19-1) had no problems winning another game on Thursday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Brescia (6-14) 80-61 . Schio looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. International point guard Costanza Verona (170-1999) fired 13 points and 6 assists for the winners. Latvian forward Kitija Laksa (183-1996, college: S.Florida) chipped in 18 points. Four Schio players scored in double figures. The former international forward Marzia Tagliamento (182-1996) produced a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds and Ukrainian power forward Tetiana Yurkevichus (187-1995) added 7 points and 12 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Schio have an impressive 14-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 19-1 record. Loser Brescia keeps the eighth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Battipaglia.
