There was a minor upset when 17th rankedLatina (10-25) was edged on the road by twentieth ranked Rieti (7-28) 67-64 on Saturday. It was a great evening for point guard Simone Giunta (185-2000) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Andrea Cecchi (196-2005) helped adding 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Rieti players scored in double figures. Rieti's coach Francesco Ponticiello used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Argentinian center Agustin Caffaro (211-1995) responded with 25 points and 8 rebounds and forward Tommaso Rossi (198-1999) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Rieti maintains twentieth place with 7-28 record. Loser Latina keeps the seventeenth position with 25 games lost. They share it with Fiorenzuola and Cassino.
