There was no surprise when 11th rankedMoncalieri (9-17) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Broni (15-11) 68-62 on Saturday. Center Meriem Nasraoui (184-2002) had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Canadian forward Christina Morra (188-2000, college: Wake Forest) chipped in 13 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Five Broni players scored in double figures. Center Kenko Ngamene (181-2004) responded with 16 points and power forward Ludovica Sammartino (186-2005) scored 6 points and 9 rebounds. Moncalieri's coach Paolo Terzolo rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Broni maintains sixth position with 15-11 record. Moncalieri lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 17 games lost. They share the position with Torino.
