Not a big story in a game when 7th rankedReggio Emilia (17-11) was defeated on the road by third ranked Brescia (20-8) 79-66 . Brescia made 26-of-31 charity shots (83.9 percent) during the game, while Reggio Emilia only scored nine points from the stripe. Reggio Emilia was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by Croatian center Miro Bilan (213-1989) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and the former international Amedeo Della Valle (192-1993, college: Ohio St., agency: SLN) supported him with 21 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!). Even a double-double of 12 points and 10 assists by American point guard Cassius Winston (185-1997, college: Michigan St.) did not help to save the game for Reggio Emilia . Senegalese center Mouhamed Faye (206-2005) added 11 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Brescia maintains third position with 20-8 record behind leader Trapani, which they share with Trento. Reggio Emilia at the other side keeps the seventh place with 11 games lost.
