Regular Season Round 28: Scafati - Treviso 87-92
Date: April 27, 2025
Everything went according to plan when eleventh rankedTreviso (11-18) beat on the road bottom-ranked Scafati (6-22) 92-87 . Treviso players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The winners were led by Lithuanian Osvaldas Olisevicius (200-1993) who scored that evening 23 points and American guard Ky Bowman (185-1998, college: Boston Coll.) supported him with 17 points and 6 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Treviso's coach Frank Vitucci allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even a double-double of 22 points and 10 assists by the former international guard Andrea Cinciarini (191-1986, agency: SLN) did not help to save the game for Scafati . American power forward Kruize Pinkins (203-1993, college: USF) added 13 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Treviso maintains eleventh position with 11-18 record. Scafati lost ninth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 22 lost games. They share the position with Pistoia. Treviso will play against higher ranked Venezia (#8) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Scafati will play against the league's second-placed Virtus (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
