We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 17th rankedDesio (13-25) was crushed on the road by eighteenth ranked Fiorenzuola (12-26) 101-82 on Sunday. Fiorenzuola made 31-of-35 free shots (88.6 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Croatian guard Emir Sabic (190-1996, college: Lyon, agency: Players Group) had a double-double by scoring 32 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and guard Alessandro Voltolini (192-2001) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists during the contest. Lithuanian forward Emilis Bartninkas (202-2004, agency: Players Group) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and naturalized Dominican guard Daniel Perez (185-1997) scored 18 points and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fiorenzuola maintains eighteenth position with 12-26 record. Desio lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixteenth place with 25 games lost. They share the position with Crema and Piombino.
